Gramsci y la traducción : génesis y alcances de una metáfora

Abstract

El artículo se propone trazar una genealogía de la emergencia y los múltiples sentidos que toma la metáfora de la traducción en el itinerario de Antonio Gramsci. El trabajo se inscribe en los recientes aportes que, en el marco de la historia intelectual en la Argentina, se han propuesto en torno a la actividad de la traducción y de la figura del intelectual como traductor para pensar tanto los procesos de recepción del marxismo en el continente como la elaboración teórica “original” de un marxismo latinoamericano.

The aim of this paper is to interpretate the gramscian notion of translation by making a genealogy of the emergence of the metaphor in the itinerary of Antonio Gramsci, and by describing the multiples senses taken by that metaphor. This work is part of the recent contributions that, in the frame of the intellectual history in Argentina, have analyzed the activity of translation and the intellectual figure as a translator, with the purpose of thinking both the processes of reception of marxism in the continent and the theoric elaboration of a Latin-American Marxism.
